Yung have announced the release of new EP These Thoughts Are Like Mandatory Chores... this September, and from its scuzzy intro, new cut "Blue Uniforms" forges a musical pathway out of the daily grind.
Guitar riffs chime over a surging drumbeat, whilst vocals echo with boundless freedom. At six and a half minutes long, the majority of the track is made up of instrumentals droning, soaring, diving, swirling... "Blue Uniforms" is capable of transporting the listener wherever they want to be.
These Thoughts Are Like Mandatory Chores... is released via Fat Possum Records/Magniph/Tough Love Records on 18 September.
