Yoke Lore shares intense charm on folk-inspired electronic pop of "Only You"
"Only You" is the sprawling, intense, folk-inspired new single from Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Yoke Lore.
Yoke Lore is the moniker of singer/songwriter and musican Adrian Galvin. Last year saw him release debut EP Far Shore, which is to be followed by this year's Goodpain EP with features "Only You". 2017 has already proved to be a busy year with the release of lead single "World Wings", SXSW performances, and a handful of shows with Best Fit favourite pronoun.
Of the new track Galvin explains: "[It] is about learning to rely on yourself for the changes you wish to see in your life and in the world. It’s about realizing your insights as responsibilities; if you have the wherewithal to recognize problems in your life and in the world, then you also have the responsibility to try to change them. Don't wait for anyone else to fix your problems.”
Galvin will play The Great Escape on 20 May and support The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart on their UK tour.
