Having enjoyed early support from the likes of NME for their first release “Dark Matter”, North London duo Wyldest have revealed a second attention-grabbing track from their forthcoming debut EP, due for release later this year.
The dream-pop pair - Zoe Mead and Holly Mullineaux, who formed back in April and were formally known as Wildest Dreams - blend ambient, warbling guitar lines with a hushed, floating vocal melody that brings to mind the equally gorgeous sounds of Beach House and one of last years obsessions, HAERTS. Throw is some brilliantly polished production, gentle peaks and troughs and a heart-throbbing bass, and Wyldest are showing-off all the ingredients for beautifully addictive pop.
