With artfully distorted vocal samples and throbbing sub-bass, the debut release from WOLFKASH certainly hits an electro-pop sweet spot.
The duo have already garnered support from Radio 1, with Huw Stephens spinning “Slow Burn” for the first time earlier this week. The track is lifted from WOLFKASH’s forthcoming EP of the same name, due out at the end of the week.
Besides the big name endorsement, there’s little else we know about WOLFKASH thus far. Their sparse social media presence gives little away, but with a debut release this good, we’re sure they’re more than happy to let “Slow Burn” speak for itself.
The Slow Burn EP is out 17 March.
