Bear witness to WILDES' haunting new track "Ghost"
London-based self-starter WILDES shares bewitching new track "Ghost" ahead of her upcoming EP release.
The singer-songwriter's latest offering is her most bold release to date, dealing with the grief experienced at the end of a relationship. Following last year's debut "Bare" and follow up "Illuminate", "Ghost" brings a lot more to the table. Not just a simple piano ballad, the darker tone sees her piercing vocal stand up against the urgency of the track's lyrics, adding some more layers of magic and mystique to her deceptively brooding sound.
In her own words; “It’s a song about the effects a past lover has on our future selves. Their words haunt us, and we long for their memories to remain after they’ve gone. Even the smallest moment with them can shape who we become”.
WILDES heads out on tour with Isaac Gracie next month, where she'll no doubt be spilling her heart out to crowds across the country.
