WHITE nod to Talking Heads on ominous new number "Recreational TV"
Raucous Glasgow bunch WHITE are debuting their belligerently brilliant new belter "Recreational TV" on Best Fit.
"Recreational TV" is the latest track from upcoming EP Cuts That Don't Bleed - it follows last month's "I Liked You Better When You Needed Me".
It's an engrossing listen full of nods to '80s noises - it flickers between calamitous punk abrasions and the swaggering synthery of Talking Heads. It's an ominous listen with gothic undertones and plenty of dramatic hooks to draw you in in an instant.
Gary Watson, frontman of burgeoning Scottish troupe The Lapelles, features on the single providing backing vocals. Watson passed away suddenly on 15 August, his 22nd birthday. Members of Glaswegian acts Lucia Fontaine, Baby Strange, The Ninth Wave, and The Cut also add their voices to the explosive gang chants.
Cuts That Don't Bleed is released on 10" vinyl via Dead Beet.
