You have to watch We Have Band's viral-ready video for "Out Of The Woods" [Premiere]
We like ambition here at Best Fit. And ambitious is the word for We Have Band's brand new video for "Out Of The Woods". The London/Manchester trio enlisted TOMATO, a freakishly good teen dance troupe from Japan to dream up the choreography for the band's latest high-energy pop creation. We're delighted to premiere it today.
TOMATO's choreography is not only fun and more than a little viral-friendly, it's superbly on point with the song's relentless pace. Primitive beats snap under the feet of the three teens dancing away gleefully between a diner, a fairground and a mountain top.
We Have band originally wanted to do the choreography but quickly realised they couldn't dance...
“We stumbled across a YouTube clip of a dance troupe called TOMATO from Chibua, Japan and wanted to work with them to create a dance video for the new single. After weeks of challenging cross continental, cross linguistic, 'google translate' correspondence that resulted in the 3 girls being filmed many times, by their manager, performing the routine they had choreographed, a friends edit later of the fairground / diner / fantasy land / mountain top footage and the result is: WHB v TOMATO - OUT THE WOODS!"
‘The Woods’ EP released on 26 April 2015 via Republic Of Music.
