Watch: Years & Years – “Real”

Lead by actor-come-indie band frontman and keyboardist, Olly Alexander, London native trio Years & Years have released the video to “Real”, slowly but surely growing their repertoire of luxurious electro pop. Of course, we’re hooked.

Alright, so it may look like a bit like Skins and Misfits had a drunken fumble after the E4 Christmas party and ended up giving birth to a music video, but hey, we’re certainly not complaining about that. Featuring Skyfall actor Ben Whishaw in the video, we hear hypnotic synth, bass building and bursting, and Alexander’s polished yet effortless RnB vocals bring it all together in a way that would make anyone want to sway…and swoon.

“Real” is out 17 February via Kitsuné and the boys play a one-off show at Oslo, Hackney on 5 March.
