Watch: Vulkano - "Spider Spider" [Premiere]
Swedish lo-fi punk duo Vulkano are sharing their new video for "Spider Spider" exclusively on Best Fit.
It was written and directed by Vulkano themselves, and if you look closely, there are appearances by Kate Nash & Girl Gang.
In the clip, we see sea creatures romancing each other pretty lustily, Vulkano & Co. conducting some kind of bizarre beachfront ritual, and close ups of people guzzling oysters. Gross.
The track itself is reliant on simple drum patterns and a primitive bassline; the melody comes entirely from the bewitching vocal interplay, and the lack of any real guitars or synths make it a primal piece of dance-punk that begs for movement.
