Watch the DIY summery visuals to accompany The Japanese House's track "Cool Blue"
With a monochrome, colourless intro, The Japanese House sets herself up for a summery burst of colour when the drums come into UV-drenched single "Cool Blue".
With penny-board cruising and Brighton exploring, "Cool Blue" swerves gracefully in and out of summery, handheld visuals to accompany the summery track brimming with vocals as angelic as Imogen Heap.
The melancholic electronica dips in and out of melodic riffs and seaside scenes, surrounding the listener with a haze-like sound and video to accompany it. With so many different colours and filters placed upon the footage, the visuals seem fragmented and jumpy to match the alt. electronica sound.
"Cool Blue" is taken from her forthcoming EP Clean, out 6 November via Dirty Hit Records.
