Danish producer Sekuioa has unveiled a Yoshi Sodeoka-designed video for recent single "Somewhere".
Sodeoka has worked in the past with Beck, Tame Impala and Yeasayer. Speaking about the ideas for "Somewhere", Sekuoia says:
“I’m often told that my music is very visual and paints images in people's heads. With this in mind, I wanted a video that really complimented my way of thinking my music- the color, the atmosphere and the aesthetic. Having watched a video by Yoshi Sodeoka for the first time, I was immediately hooked, and convinced that he was the perfect match for creating a video complimenting 'Somewhere', and he has without a doubt done an amazing job. The end result gives my track an even more psychedelic image, and enhances the bombastic elements in the track, giving these details and even greater effect.”
Recently, Sekuoia was cherrypicked by compatriot MØ to tour with her across Denmark. He will release his upcoming EP Reset Heart on 2 March.
