Watch: Savages – City's Full (Live at The Shacklewell Arms)
Been meaning to throw this out there for a couple of weeks but as is often the case, life gets in the way. Amazingly though, apart from a wonderful interview with The Quietus and the NME pointing out the splendour of this magnificent new group from Jehn (of John & Jehn), Savages are still very much an untapped entity. Not for long though. There’s an excitement contained within these three and a half minutes that can only be described as primal. Ferocious, bleak and fuelled with bile and movement.
This single video is all we have right now. There is no more information, no more music, no release information. But that’s ok – hit repeat on ‘City’s Full’ for the next hour or so and you’ll be as obsessed as us. More please.
