Watch: Raleigh Ritchie – Stay Inside
Rising soul vocalist Raleigh Ritchie has shown his face for the first time to coincide with the release of his free-to-download debut EP, The Middle Child.
Having supported Kendrick Lamar – at the Compton rapper’s behest no less – and racked up a Wireless slot, Ritchie obviously felt this was the right time to air his video debut too.
The harrowing ‘Stay Inside’ focuses on a master puppeteer who is gradually losing his grip on reality, eventually becoming the very soulless shell he pores over day and night, with Raleigh’s despondent croon and busted beats soundtracking the mental decay to poignant perfection. We have a serious talent on our hands here.
