Watch: Meanwhile - "All For The Taking"
Meanwhile, currently touring the continent with La Roux, has lifted the lid on new video for "All For The Taking", taken from his The Element Yes EP, due out 1 December via Fiction.
The track is a staccato-funk tirade, with snazzy synthery and slick basslines. Its accompanying clip is a pseudo-sexual montage of pastel-shaded strangeness. Classic Meanwhile.
Speaking about the video, he's said:
"I wanted the visual dynamic to be represented in such a way that took the viewer on the journey through the questions I'm asking myself - trying to decide the best forward through a tough situation. The director Jake nailed this concept by using visual metaphors that correspond to the lyrics, and by having me 'face the situation' head on at the end of the song."
