Watch Mapei perform "Change", live in session for Transmitter
After releasing one of 2013's finest songs in "Don't Wait", Stockholm based artist Mapei is now gearing towards the release of her massively anticipated major label debut album Hey Hey.
Whilst in London for a sold old show at Cargo, the good folk at Transmitter caught up with Mapei for the first ever filmed performance of recent single "Change" which premieres below.
Hey Hey gets its US release on September 23 via Downtown Records (you can stream the record in full now over on NPR) whilst the UK will have to wait until early next year when the record drops through Columbia. "Change" is available to buy now.
Mapei will embark on a US tour with her onetime room mate Lykke Li throughout the tail end of September and October. Li says of the tour: "I am beyond excited and thrilled to announce that my dear friend Mapei will come on tour with me. It is insanely symbolic to me as she's been my idol ever since I saw her the first time when I was 17. She was the coolest thing I've ever seen and she dared me to follow my dream".
