Watch: Listenbee - "Save Me"
Recent Lokal Legend signees Listenbee already had a song of the summer 2015 candidate in “Save Me”, and now they’ve got a stunning video to match.
Set in Grenada (from which one half of directorial duo Cry\Wolf hails), the video tells the heartbreaking story of a boy and his chicken. As the staccato acoustic rhythms and haunting gospel leads we’ve come to know so well drive the plot forward, our protagonist finds salvation from the most unlikely of sources.
Listenbee says: "I was inspired to create something different with the video for ‘Save Me”. I wanted the video to feel more like a short film than a music video. The song has a lot of soul and emotion and I wanted the video to reflect and amplify that feeling. It was important to me that the video come from a place of authenticity."
