Watch: Kwabs – “Wrong or Right”
Though he claims “verbal diarrhoea” in his Twitter bio, the first single from Kwabs’ upcoming 4-song EP is anything but. Now it has the visuals to match.
“Wrong or Right” (produced by SOHN) is a tight, concise, and astutely spacious track – bolstered with a haunting vocal that’s just begging to be sampled on a future Kanye West project.
It also boasts a dramatic swagger that would seem very much at home during the closing credits of, say, an episode of the BBC’s, Luther. The video, featuring an avant-garde assortment of interpretative dancers, only drives the mood deeper into the listener’s skull.
Kwabs proves to be a real force on “Wrong or Right”, and pop culture futurists would be wise to make note of him.
