Watch: Ji Nilsson - "Encore"
The most recent signing to sister label Best Fit Recordings is Stockholm's Ji Nilsson, and now you can glimpse the video for her new single "Encore".
The single follows the success of big numbers like "Heartbreakfree" (which has amassed over 1m plays on Spotify), "I'm Her", and Nilsson's Marlene collab "Love You Anyway".
In true '80s fashion - think Bonnie Tyler - Nilsson plumps for grandiose, dramatic statements, blue hues and a variety of mushy embraces. There is a lot of snogging in this video. Sticky, little-strand-of-dribble-between-your-lips snogging.
The new single is released today (16 February) via Best Fit Recordings.
Explaining what we should expect in the near future, Nilsson said: “Pop, R&B, handclaps, thematic lyrics and underwater magic mermaid sounds... I also hope you'll recognize some of the feelings I describe, hope it makes you want to dance and maybe cry a little. And I hope you want to keep listening.”
