Listen: Here Is Your Temple - "Equivoke" [Premiere]
Sweden's Here Is Your Temple are sharing new single "Equivoke" exclusively on Best Fit.
The Scandinavian quintent carve a shimmering piece of expansive pop-rock, pockmarked with synth glitter and glacier-sheen brightness. It's an emotive cut from HIYT, tugging at your feels, but the anthemic chorus will rouse you from any sullen mood.
Using cinema as a major inspiration - such as "the first synth experiments in Tarkovsky’s Stalker, the cut up soundtracks of Godard to Vangelis' Blade Runner - the band write to evoke, and frequently play silent films while writing to galvanise their creativity.
"Equivoke" is out 18 March on Bolero; their debut full-length is expected in October.
