There’s not really a lot to say about this clip apart from the fact it’s fugging amazing. Girl Crisis take Ace Of Base classic ‘The Sign’, grab a big jar of sass and apply liberally over a skeletal arrangement of delicate keyboard and light percussion.
Featuring members of Chairlift, Au Revoir Simone and Class Actress, Girl Unit are taking viral marketing to the next level. Their recorded output consists only of covers with past reinterpretations including Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid’ and Nirvana’s ‘Come As You Are’. Slightly frustrating is the fact that the songs are only available on YouTube and there are no plans as such to release them ‘officially’. ‘The Sign’ is the groups twelfth video, check out the rest via their YouTube channel.
