Beloved Burger Records act Froth share the video for their latest single "Postcard Radio."
The first track to be lifted from their upcoming LP Bleak, "Postcard Radio" is the epitome of what every summer soundtrack should be. You can practically feel the sun radiating from blistering refrains, and can almost smell the sea breeze in the surging percussion. Echoing vocals, soaring guitars, and a driving rhythm flood out the speakers and through system in an instant, transporting you to the free-wheeling antics and euphoric blaze of vacation. It's blissed out garage rock at its best.
The video, directed by Riley Blakeway, represents this perfectly, with a montage of the band through blue skies, sun-soaked landscapes, smashed fruit, rolling tyres in reverse, and a whole load of other hijinks that probably don't seem to make sense to anyone who wasn't there - because isn't that's what summer's about? Make this season your own, and start its soundtrack here.
Bleak will be released via Burger Records on 5 May.
