Alexander Kotz, an electric pop newcomer that flies under the Elderbrook flag, is to soon release his debut EP, Simmer Down.
One of the tracks on that EP - the astonishing "Could", a nu-garage cut with addictive beats and soulful vocals - has gone and got itself a music video. The painted clip was directed by NYC-based artist Lauren Gregory, who used oil paintings to make the visuals.
Speaking about the video, Gregory said:
"His moves, like the music, will be repetitive and cyclical, as I will want to create many short animated loops that I'll melt into each other and layer over one another."

The Simmer Down EP is released 24 November via Black Butter.
