Watch: Crypt – Feel You [Premiere]
Emerging UK garage producer Crypt debuts the atmospheric video for lead single, ‘Feel You’ off his new EP.
From murky 2-step garage beginnings enveloping London’s Plastic People events, Essex producer Daniel Shell creates thick full-bodied bass music, made up of throbbing layers that summon you to the dancefloor.
Making the rounds in the underground dance music scene, Shell’s mastered the art of fluidity, while keeping your heart rate (and the bpms) at an all time high. On ‘Feel You’ a pulsing 4-4 beat weaves it’s way through synthy piano stabs and shrill cries on loop. Jazzy rhythms and tightly wound percussion keep the mood upbeat, while flooding the dancefloor with a hard-hitting, yet inviting darkness. After a listen through, there’s no doubt, Crypt’s music was made for those exceptionally late nights that challenge the sun to never rise.
Crypt’s Feel You EP is out now on 12” and digitally via Nineteen89.
