Watch: Charlotte Church – Water Tower [Premiere]
Former child opera upstart turned pop minx turned tenacious independent artist Charlotte Church returns today with new track ‘Water Tower’ – the first to be lifted from her new EP THREE.
Released via the Welsh star’s own Alligator Wine Records, Church remains uncompromising in her approach to writing and releasing music. Breaking free from the apron strings of a major label, the release is the third in a series of bold statements from Charlotte with a fourth EP already believed to be in the works.
Perhaps her most refined and atmospheric track to date, ‘Water Tower’ is a pensive meditation that erupts two thirds of the way in with a cacophony of horns and face melting guitar motifs, augmented by Church’s towering vocal.
