Deity-like genius and R&B soul legend Bobby Womack sure has aged well, his finger about as much on the pulse as an airport arrivals medic caught up in the fainting scenes of 60′s Beatlemania. Womack performed ‘Please Forgive My Heart’ last night on Later… With Jools Holland, his emotive croon cascading over a sparse backdrop of minimalist beats.
