West London three-piece BabeHeaven channel Massive Attack and Cocteau Twins on dreamy debut "Friday Sky".
The video sees the band "gathering for pizza and karate", and enjoying "hazy mornings on the Westway". Lead singer Nancy Anderson sparkles (literally and figuratively), crooning above a layer of tick-tock beats, FX drowned guitars and warm synth pads. It's an endlessly romantic cut that blends trip-hop motifs and dream-pop hallmarks; it's a kind of late summer ballad, destined for balmy parks and fields as the sun begins to escape over the horizon.
