Danish musician Asbjørn returns with a four part video series, titled Pseudo Visions, focusing on new aspects of masculinity. Following on from the recent track “Brotherhood”, we’re happy to premiere the new video for the latest track in the series, “R Y B”.
Asbjørn talks about the concept behind the Pseudo Visions series of tracks: “Being an ‘independent man’, exploring your sexuality and playing with the masculine ideal is still hard in pop-culture, and most men who try will be labelled ‘less men’. I believe that every man should find his own balance between femininity and masculinity, and standing by that balance makes him a real man. However, that is not yet the perception in mainstream culture today”.
Parts three and four of the series will follow in due course. For now, watch the arresting footage for “R Y B” above. For more information on Asbjørn, be sure to check out his Facebook page.
