Watch: April Towers - "No Corruption" [Premiere]
Last Autumn, just as Festival season was drawing to a close, we were luckily given the chance to premiere the video for "Arcadia" by Nottingham-based production duo April Towers.
Now, months later, we're proud to be able to showcase their new video for follow-up "No Corruption".
Merging gigantic synthpop glitter with the dark of post-punks like Interpol, "No Corruption" is a confrontational tune with a core worth taking note of - we won't lay it on too thick, but have a listen an their intent's clear. Backed by dark chiming pads, robust beats and some behemoth axes licks, the band create a powerful slab of noise.
The video, by Never Never Productions, tells the story of a down-on-his-luck everyman crushed into oblivion by the ratrace.
"No Corruption" is set to be released 23 February. The duo will also release former single "Arcadia" with "No Corruption" as a very limited AA-side 12" in March.
