Hull's finest garage punksVulgarians have shared a brand new single from their upcoming EP.

Vulgarians have never been a band to fall into a formula. Always challenging, the band stride across their boundaries with a striking confidence. "Of Humdrum Consumption" is a four and a half minute venture through everything the outfit are capable.

Spitting out a vehement distaste at the world, the track rages with a freewheeling intensity. Meandering through disarray, Vulgarians turn calamity into cohesion. Angst driven punk in places, sprawling chasms of sound in others, this is Vulgarians at their most dexterous.

"In many ways the song sounds more typical of an earlier Vulgarians' track in regard to the discordant feedback," frontman Ryan Wilson Preen describes of the track, going on to add that it "shows an indication that we've moved forward and can write something more. We've finally allowed our Krautrock fascination to be absorbed into a new, vulgar life."

"Of Humdrum Consumption" is taken from the group's forthcoming EP. The band tour the UK in support of the release next month. Details of these upcoming shows can be found below.
