Völuspa plunges into romantic uncertainty with new track "Miss You Too"
New York's Völuspa finds lust at every turn with new track "Miss You Too", accompanied by visuals inspired by Hitchcock, Twin Peaks and the Occult.
"Miss You Too" is a subtle and breezy offering, showcasing Völuspa's wistful vocals that glide gracefully through the crisp air.
Tinged with delicate dream-pop, Völuspa's calm pacing translates into a lullaby with the airy instrumentals that softly echo into the horizon.
The new track arrives with accompanying visuals directed by Ash Peters, who channels inspiration from Hitchcock, Twin Peaks and the Occult into the trippy monochrome video.
In the second half of the track "Miss You Too" is engulfed by synths, flickering like a series of memories stuck on loop.
Speaking about her new track, Völuspa explains, “"Miss You Too" is a rhetorical song. A psychic understanding of loss and the longing that goes with it. She misses you but there is no power lost in that because love is always found in creation and connection with something more supernatural and phenomenal than tragic loss. There is always more magic and transformation if you look for it.”
