Tusks remixes Young Wonder's "Sweet Dreaming" ahead of their album launch show [Premiere]
London's Tusks has reworked "Sweet Dreaming" by Cork-based electro-pop duo Young Wonder.
The original - which can be heard here - features on Young Wonder's debut album Birth, which is out on 18 May via Feel Good Lost.
Tusks' rework sees the track get a dreamy overhaul; no longer the swooping, pirouetting explosion of synthy magic, it's now a midnight-shaded fantasty world of glow in the dark fireflies and frothy purple hues. It's gorgeously complex, and layered like a sonic tiramisu, and provides an intriguing angle on one of Young Wonder's most illustrious tunes.
Young Wonder launch their new album tomorrow (7 May) at London's Electrowerkz, presented by The Line Of Best Fit and Parallel Lines. You can grab tickets right here for only £7.
