
South London rappers Too Many T's announce debut album with the hard-hitting "God Save The T's"
With support for the likes of De La Soul, Public Enemy and Snoop Dogg already under their belts, South London duo Too Many T's are getting ready to drop their debut album in September.
On "God Save The T's" Ross Standaloft and Leon Rhymes - the pair who make up Too Many T's - pull from vintage rap and hip hop without sounding retro or pastiche.
With a lyrical dexterity recalling an amphetamised Beastie Boys, speaker-rattling 808s and rumbling elastic bass, Too Many T's certainly reach back for influence but fantastic production from Flux Pavilion and Odjbox leaves any thoughts of lo-finess well and truly out of the picture. The duo's rhymes are hard af, bafflingly quick and always hit the mark.There are points of humour across the lyrics but they never detract from the terrific talent of this duo.
