Dublin punks The Murder Capital share the snarling "Green & Blue"
With Dublin delivering a plethora of punk-driven bands of late, including both Fontaines D.C. and Just Mustard, The Murder Capital are doing things differently. Sharing their second single "Green & Blue", the anthemic quintet are a darker offering, best known for their energetic live performances and snarling riffs.
"Green & Blue" is a menacing exploration into the contrasting nature of light and dark, the track's bruising bass and heart-thumping drum beat encapsulates The Murder Capital's desire to drive a cultural shift. With a powerful punch to the stomach, resulting in winding its antagoniser, 'Green & Blue' is a formidably crushing force of punk that we all need to hear more of.
Featuring the rumbling scowls of James McGovern's vocals, the track's 6 minute video is eerily compelling. A gloriously well-crafted narrative, the video takes it's abrasive punk stance and places itself, front row, in the eyes of those yearning for someone to die for.
