The Linedots hold nothing back on stunning debut single "Small Talk"
London pair The Linedots (aka Evangeline Ling and Kevin Emre) unveil their electrifying debut single "Small Talk".
Put simply, "Small Talk" is fantastic. Percussion hits like a haymaker and synths convulse, afflicted by a raging fever. Slippery, M83-y guitars screech as if sirens howling down a highway; this is energised, exciting, and stuffed with earworms determined to burrow deep into your brain. The Linedots hold nothing back on one of the most impressive debuts we've heard in some time.
Speaking about the track, Ling and Emre say: “'Small Talk' is about everything and nothing at at all - it is up to the listener to decipher their own meaning. This is why the book is always better than the film.”
