The Foetals tease debut album with bittersweet track "Malted"
Former Pink Teens (AKA Temple Songs) frontman Jolan Lewis is breaking out on his own, and his characteristic sentiments are primed to charm.
Echoing with nostalgia, there's bittersweet note in everything The Foetals do. Following the swooning enchantment of debut track "Fine", "Malted" is a little more subdued. Resounding guitars and meandering rhythms paint a vivid backdrop to Lewis' echoing vocals, reverberating through a haze of effects with a poignant fervour.
Enchanting and somewhat yearning, The Foetals take a classic aesthetic and infuse it with an air of electricity, crafting a record that's ready to allure.
Meet The Foetals is released via PNKSLM Recordings this October.
