Irish artist Talos sings about the complexities of love on “Tethered Bones”, his hypnotic debut single.
Talos (born Eoin French) seems at ease among the swirling electronic pop on “Tethered Bones”. Despite whatever may come to mind by glancing at the title, the song is far from restricted. It’s a hopeful, feel-good tune with smooth production that suits Talos well, full of effervescent synths and warm piano melodies.
Hailing from Cork, Ireland, he describes the record as a “love song, about how a relationship can engulf and transform you: what it can and does take away. What you lose and what you gain.”
