Swedish producer Saturday, Monday remixes Drake's "Now & Forever"
Ludvig Parment, AKA Stockholm-based producer Saturday, Monday, has shared a new remix of Drake's "Now & Forever" for free download.
The original track features on Drizzy's recent album/mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late. Parment lends a woozy air to the proceedings however, moving away from the maudlin R&B and towards a smoky, hypnagogic plane of existence. The edit features stabs of house-lite keys, time-warped vocals and dynamic fades - rather than the continual onslaught of the original we see various elements drop in and out of focus, leading to a disjointed, slippering feel.
Parment recently released his new short-player, the Late EP, via Despotz. It features collaborations with Best Fit Recordings' recent signee Ji Nilsson and Brolin.
