Sweden's Mountain Bird links with Autrey on electrifying new tune "Cliché"
Stockholm-based producer Mountain Bird is sharing striking new synthpop single "Cliché" featuring US vocalist Emily Autrey.
Ja Ja Ja alumnus Mountain Bird - aka Adam Öhman - adds a Scandi touch to the kind of sleek, seductive electro-R&B favoured by The Weeknd on "Cliché", a track that looks to conjure the sparks that fly in the early stages of a relationship.
"Cliché" is warped and breathy, with sensuality slipped into each beat and electricity coursing through each hook. It's slick but Öhman adds rawness with distortion, stuttering samples, and pitch-shifted vocals so that it doesn't stray too far from his bewitching, dreamy roots. This is an invigorating outing from the up-and-coming talent that oozes charm.
