Sweden round-up: New jj, Team Rockit and Museum Of Bellas Artes
It’s been quite the day for our northern neighbours. So much good stuff has emerged from Svierge today that the only feasible way to handle it all is to throw it all together in a bite sized post. Ready?
The first fruits of new Sincerely Yours signing Team Rockit have finally seen the light of day. Produced by jj’s Joakim Benon, ‘Första hjälpen’ is quite possibly the most exhilarating and refreshing SY release since Nordpolen’s På nordpolen. Sung (rapped) entirely in Swedish with a heavy euro-beat flavour, it’s going to diversify opinion for sure. Also, loving the packet of snus in the artwork above.
Stream the tracks ‘Första hjälpen’ and ‘Leviathan’ below, buy the 7″ single and grab the mp3s via Sincerely Yours.

Sticking with the Sincerely Yours theme, the label have also today released the new video from the aforementioned jj. Keeping us waiting a little while longer for new album jj no. 4 (the release date has been pushed back from May 16 to June 21), they’ve eased the pain slightly by releasing this video for ‘Angels’, taken from last year’s free mixtape kills.

Since the release of the magnificent Days Ahead 10″ EP last year, Stockholm based young guns Museum Of Bellas Artes have been keeping rather quiet. Re-emerging today with a re-edit of the EP’s title track and an accompanying video, this new version of ‘Days Ahead’ is slimmed down and punchier than the original yet thankfully still contains the jaw dropping pan pipe solo (yeah you read that right).
