Listen: Summer Camp – Fresh (Fyfe Remix)
We’ve been keeping a close eye on London’s Fyfe for some time now. ‘St Tropez‘ and the title-track drawn from his Conversations EP, were two of spring’s sharpest pop tracks, and now the ex-David’s Lyre artist is showing a deft touch on the remix front with some gorgeous tinkering on Summer Camp’s ‘Fresh’.
The original, drawn from the duo’s forthcoming second LP, has been given a few distinctive Fyfe touches, with Elizabeth and Jeremy’s vocals brought to the fore, pumped up with ghostly harmonics and looped over again to create a cruising wave of choral voices. Unsurprisingly slick stuff.
‘Fresh’ is set to be released on 2 September with Summer Camp out the following week.
