Stream the sun-soaked debut single from Brighton duo Oslo Parks
Brighton duo Oslo Parks have announced the release of their new double-A Side single "Fiction" / "Dress For That" which drops 8 June via X Novo Records.
The brainchild of Rob Flynn and Ian Booth, their sun-soaked first single "Fiction" premieres on Best Fit today.
“Fiction is about a relationship before it's really a relationship – before you get that full connection with another person.” In contrast to this soul-searching sentiment of trepidation "Fiction" bursts into life right from the get go with summery vibes and youthful abandonment.
Citing the soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto and the synth-driven 80’s antics of Prince and Bowie, Oslo Parks blend melancholic sentiments with relentless staccato rhythms and synthesizers recalling the French electronica of College and Kavinsky.
Stream "Fiction" below and catch Oslo Parks at The Alt Escape (a spin off of The Great Escape) in Brighton on 15 May or June 9 at The Waiting Room, London.
