The enigmatic production and songwriting talent we know only as Brolin has offered up the remaining tracks to his Cundo extended-player, following last month’s ‘Reykjavik‘ – the Luke Abbot produced title track from the EP.
Adding more weight to the emotive rich hook-laden sound that characterises what little we’ve heard so far of the London-based musician, the tracks on Cundo transcend both the ‘bedroom producer’ title Brolin’s given himself not to mention The Guardian‘s misplaced ‘new Burial’ tag. While Brolin’s music finds kinship in some of the textural elements of William Bevan’s music, that’s where the similarity ends. Listen below:
