Scandi-popper STORME nails the explosive chorus on new cut "Burning Echoes"
Swedish-born, London-based STORME marries drama and delicacy with effervescent Scandi-pop on new track “Burning Echoes”.
With brooding verses coupled unexpectedly to an utterly explosive pop chorus, “Burning Echoes” harnesses the most engaging components of modern electronic music to create a track able to play with light and shade to great effect. With influences drawn from some of the most creative women in music today, it’s no wonder STORME’s music manages to be at highly listenable whilst maintaining a left-field feel.
Inspired by the dramatic landscapes of her native Sweden, STORME has an impressive ability to generate atmosphere within mere seconds. With a crystal-clear vocal reminiscent of fellow Swede Robyn, it’s no surprise she conquered a host of European festivals in 2016. With a new audience far beyond the country she calls home, STORME looks set for a fantastic year ahead.
“Burning Echoes” is out 24 February.
