Listen: Still Parade – Health [Premiere]

Still Parade’s understated, electronically tinctured folk debut, ‘Actors’ caught all and sundry off guard. There’s no such element of surprise with ‘Health’, the other half of their forthcoming AA-side single.

Shunning image and conventional press is a tired technique, but with Still Parade, there really isn’t the necessity for model good-looks, sharp apparel or a cocksure frontman. ’Health’ is their identity. Marching snare raps, throbbing synthesizers and delicate guitar notes flit like butterfly wings into an ether of enchanting choral incantations. All their own little idiosyncrasies forming a mosaic of intricate, personal sounds; this is them, and put simply, they’re divine.
