Watch: Slaughter Beach – “Spinning Globe” [Premiere]
Indie-pop Danish trio Slaughter Beach have matched the infectious sound of “Spinning Globe” with some reflective, reality driven visuals.
-The track indulges in synths and uplifting melodies to match the spring weather, yet the visuals portray the reality of two different personalities. The social butterfly on the right of the split screen enables “Spinning Globe” to withhold the jangly, happy tone that Slaughter Beach project, yet on the left, the reality of the lonely boy emphasises the track’s underlying, heartfelt nature.
“Spinning Globe” is incredibly infectious, and even the shots of the heart monitor keep us hooked on the video’s wonderful visuals.
Catch Slaughter Beach on 4 April at Jazzhuest in Gothenberg, Sweden.
