Earlier this month three young pals who go by the name of Sisters debuted their single “Hush Hush” to much acclaim. In preparation for its December release, the band have made a DIY video, which you can see first, here at Best Fit.
Sisters hail from Limerick, Ireland, but for the last month England has been their home, whilst touring with Big Deal. Footage of these shows can be seen on the video for “Hush Hush”, a seemingly acid-induced photomontage where we meet the band, and all their eccentricities.
The track itself is produced by Alalal- who’s probably best known from his work with Rufus Wainwright and The Rapture- and uses the simple counterbalance of guitarist Niall’s raspy vocals and riffs with the smooth, honeyed vocals of bassist Aoife to great effect.
Sisters will be playing a free headline show at The Old Blue Last on 23 November.
“Hush Hush” is released 2 December via Just Off Pop Records.
