Seazoo tease debut album with first single "Roy’s World"
Hailing from Wrexham, North Wales, Seazoo have been playing the long game, but 2017 will finally see the release of their long-awaited debut record.
"Roy’s World" channels the iconic mundane tone of Ian Curtis, and could almost be considered a slightly perkier alternative to "Love Will Tear Us Apart". You don’t have to know who Roy is to want to be a part of his world.
The warmth and charm of "Roy’s World" stem from wobbly synths and retro-feeling guitars that sparkle with nostalgia. Music doesn’t have to take itself too seriously to be valuable; in fact it's Seazoo's enthusiastic attitude that really elevates "Roy’s World" into more than a piece of throw-away indie pop.
