Thank God they left the mullets behind.
Described as “icy” and “glacial”, Sad Palace make a very distinctive brand of stone cold indie pop indebted to landfill guitar music of the '00s and the backend of ‘80s electronica.
New track “Melody Crux” brings to mind such indie stalwarts as The Cads and Trophy Wife with an added nostalgic pop glean. Fairly middle of the road stuff but nothing wrong with that. Occasionally.
“Melody Crux” is out 10 November.
