Brooklyn-based Rén with the Mane breaks free on fierce new pop number "Up And Over"
Break free from the monotony of your everyday with the brand new single from Brooklyn's Rén with the Mane.
Renée Orshan has been busy building a portfolio of impressive singles since the release of her dazzling debut "Time". Since then a name change has ensued from simply RÉN. Her impressive head of hair which, you've guessed it, resembles a lion's mane, is now part of her moniker.
Tracks like the introspective "Into The Unknown" and vibrant "Give It All Up" have seen Orshan grow as an artist and now "Up And Over" marks the start of a new chapter. "Get ready to run," is the battle cry at the core of the track that drives the track's emotive message home. It's a message of reclaiming power, self-motivation and facing your demons by climbing over the boulders in your life and making the most of new opportunities by diving head first into that water.
Explains her influences, Orshan says "I've been listening to a lot of strong male sung pop jams like BØRNS "Electric Love", MGMT "Kids", Glass Animals' "Gooey" - I've always been a fan of these powerful, bass driven, mood building tracks, and I wanted to attempt creating a song in this vein, but this time with female vocals.. thus 'Up And Over' was born!"
Bold, innovative, and fuelled by wanderlust, "Up And Over" might just inspire the motivation you're looking for to successfully implement your "new year, new me" mantra.
