Razmataz Lorry Excitement is the alias of disco-devoted Field Music touring member, Kev Dosdale.
A former Klaxons and Crystal Castles support act, RLE’s new tune ‘Skin’, which employs the washed-out vocals of South Tynesider Natasha Haws, probably owes more to the reinvigorated dance-pop movement spearheaded by Disclosure and Rudimental than any other post-00 electro trend.
Driven by thumping bass wobs and housey pianos, ‘Skin’ puts the usually restrained Haws in the shoes of Sinead Hartnett and hometown gal Lulu James, belting out her smoky, sultry lines with positively diva-like attitude.
‘Skin’ is out 21 October.
